Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapists are experts in addressing the underlying musculoskeletal imbalances that can cause pain, discomfort, and limited mobility.

Comprehensive Aquatic and Land-Based Physical Therapy Solutions

Living Well Center for Integrative Health specializes in using water in addition to highly skilled hands-on therapy. Patients are educated in deep water exercises and injury-specific land-based programs for quick pain relief and long-lasting results. We do this by understanding the underlying cause of the pain, treating it, and not just treating symptoms.

We are movement experts. We apply the latest research in exercise science, biomechanics, and balance training to improve mobility and independence and ensure your ability to maintain the activity level you want in your life. We provide treatment based on the activities you want to continue in your golden years, from improving your golf swing to helping you safely walk in the community and at home. We use cutting-edge exercise science, functional movement systems, aquatic therapy, and hands-on techniques to help each individual reach their goals.

We are equipped to help our little patients reach their maximum potential. Whether your little one is battling an orthopedic ailment, developmental setback, or a combination of both, we have the resources needed to provide your child with the best physical therapy treatment possible. Your therapist will apply cutting-edge exercise principles specific to pediatric patients in the aquatic setting or on land to keep your little one on track toward their maximum potential.

Physical therapy (PT) is care that aims to ease pain and help you function, move, and live well. You may need it to:

  • Relieve chronic pain

  • Improve movement or ability

  • Prevent or recover from a sports injury

  • Prevent disability or surgery

  • Rehab after a stroke, accident, injury, or surgery

  • Work on balance to prevent a slip or fall

  • Manage a chronic illness like diabetes, heart disease, or arthritis

  • Recover after you give birth

  • Control your bowels or bladder

  • Adapt to an artificial limb

  • Learn to use assistive devices like a walker or cane

  • Get a splint or brace

People of all ages get physical therapy. PT can treat a variety of health problems.

Your physical therapist is well-equipped to deal with the highly demanding and specialized treatment professional athletes require. We have helped hundreds of high-level athletes across many sports reach their rehabilitation following injury, prevent future damage, and maximize potential athletic abilities. Our tests will provide a baseline assessment of strengths and weaknesses and expose possible injury risks throughout the body. Treatment then focuses on ensuring maximal health throughout the musculoskeletal system and neurological systems to allow the athlete to be in the best possible position to avoid injury and maximize athletic performance.

Every Body Is Different

Each patient is thoroughly assessed on their first visit, and every effort to improve their comfort is made. Physical therapy looks for and addresses the underlying cause of pain. Each patient is individually assessed using a range of motion, body mechanics, posture, and muscle strength evaluations to determine a treatment plan specific to their needs. Visits consist of gentle warm-ups, stretching, strengthening, and soft tissue massage. Physical Therapy appointments routinely last an hour.

Our Integrative approach to health care is a safe and effective way to treat the entire family. We offer moms-to-be, infants, children, and teens gentle, significant, and personalized Chiropractic and Physical Therapy on a case-by-case basis. Based on your needs, Physical Therapists may use modalities such as ultrasound and electric stimulation, which are gentle tools that help decrease pain and inflammation, facilitating the healing process.

Our goal is not only to help you return to the active life you desire as quickly as possible but to give you the tools necessary to prevent future instances of pain. As you progress and improve with physical therapy, your plan is continually adjusted to suit your needs.
