Alice Goodrich - MSPT
Alice Goodrich, a highly skilled physical therapist with a specialty in Golf Performance, earned her Master's Degree from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. She started her academic journey with an undergraduate degree in Health Science at Simmons College and further explored her interests in sports medicine, nutrition, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, Kinesio-taping, and human movement, with a particular focus on biomechanical analysis of golf swings and running mechanics & injuries.
As an enthusiastic runner, in-line skater, long-distance cyclist, and golfer, Alice pursued her passion for Golf Mechanics. She trained with Paul Calloway, a Physical Therapist and former Director of the PGA Tour, and later with Bud Ferrante, OCS, Physical Therapist, and founder of Back to Golf. In 1997, Alice became Nationally Certified as a Golf Performance Therapist and established two practices, one in Providence, RI, and the other in Sarasota, FL. She now works with professional and amateur golfers in Sarasota during the winter months and in Vermont during the spring, summer, and fall.
Alice's expertise in Golf Performance sets her apart in the field, as she helps golfers of all levels improve their game through biomechanical analysis and tailored treatment plans. Her dedication to the sport and her clients is evident in the success stories of those with whom she has worked.
Since 2005, Alice has also integrated Postural Restoration concepts into her evaluation and treatment approach, further enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive care for her clients. Her unique combination of skills and passion for golf performance make Alice an invaluable asset to golfers seeking to improve their game and overall physical well-being.
