Laura is a 2013 graduate of UVM’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, and also has an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Science. She began her physical therapy career working at Essex Aquatic and Rehab Center for Veronica Paquette. When Essex Aquatic merged with Living Well Center for Integrative Health, Laura was happy to make the transition. She enjoys collaborating with the chiropractors and massage therapists in creating a multi-faceted approach to patient care. Laura treats a variety of diagnoses, including sports related injuries and post-op rehabilitation. She uses multiple treatment techniques including aquatic therapy, Postural Restoration, manual therapy and kinesiotape. She has a growing interest in working with women during pregnancy and postpartum and also has experience treating worker’s compensation cases. Laura is passionate about helping patients to create appropriate exercise routines and influencing their postural habits to return them to their prior level of function and accomplish their personal health goals.
As a native Vermonter, Laura enjoys spending time outdoors running, hiking with her dog Bruin, kayaking and boating on Lake Champlain. She also enjoys knitting, reading and spending time with family and friends.
